testing and diet protocols for Food Related Symptoms:

MRT/Leap oR  low fodmap

A customized approach is used to evaluate and design programs for food and chemical allergies, sensitivities, or intolerances. Blood Tests and specialized protocols and elimination diets can be helpful for those suffering from digestive disorders, auto-immune conditions and inflammatory problems. MRT testing with LEAP protocol OR Low FODMAP are examples of these approaches.

MRT/LEAP FOOD Sensitivity Tests and Treatment

Are you suffering from Irritable Bowel Syndrome, Migraine Headaches, or Fibromyalgia? In some individuals, a non-allergic sensitivity reaction can be triggered by common foods and/or chemicals in the diet or environment. These reactions may cause the immune system to release excessive inflammatory substances called "mediators". The Mediator Release Test (MRT) evaluates reactions to up to 170 foods and chemicals. An individualized eating and lifestlyle program (LEAP) is designed using the best tolerated foods. Highly reactive foods are avoided. Follow up and coaching are provided to assist with making dietary changes.

LOW FODMAP Protocol for Irritable Bowel Syndrome

Are you having difficulty with diarrhea, constipation, and flatulence? Are you looking for a proven dietary approach? The Low FODMAP (Fermentable Oligo-Di-Monosacccharides and Polyols) elimination and challenge protocol can help you identify the foods contributing to your symptoms.  Meet with the registered dietitian/nutritionist for an initial 90 minute visit  to evaluate your diet and symptoms and see if this is the right approach for you. Learn the protocol and incorporate it into your lifestyle. Improvement is often seen in 2-4 weeks.
